We are thrilled to welcome you to SJO: Study Judaism Online.


SJO was created to be an Introductory Course to Judaism and will provide you with a solid foundation in the rich traditions, rituals and laws of Orthodox Judaism with support and guidance.


To get started, simply sign in below and once signed in, go to 'my dashboard' in the right hand corner to find the programs you are enrolled in.

Program Group Chats

Personal Group Chat


You will be added to your personal WhatsApp group (unless otherwise preferred) and will be introduced to our Program Director and Student Advisor. 


This group is for any questions you may have related to the program, any advice or guidance you may need along your journey and to update us on your progress. 


Public Student Group Chat


You will also receive invitations to join our Public Student Group chats which are intended for you to socialize and engage. This is where class notifications and important program announcements are sent.

Student Advising

For program related questions, you may ask in any of the student groups or contact the Program Director by scheduling a call, by email or direct message.

Live Lectures

Before each class, you will receive a notification for class in the public student groups or email. 


Additionally, the Zoom link can be found in the Live Stream section of each class in the student portal.


Live Classes are provided for enrichment purposes, offering you hands on time to interact with our Rabbi's and other students from around the world.

Recordings are uploaded to your student portal within 24-48 hours if you are unable to attend.

Recorded Lectures

Introductory "Welcome To Judaism" recordings are a requirement for completing SJO.

You may also access hundreds of hours of previously recorded classes to enhance your learning on your own time.

Please take a moment to review the Welcome Packet. You will find it located in the SJO course on your student portal dashboard.


The Welcome Packet includes crucial details such as the program outline, Reading List, SJO requirements, and other essential information.
